Mail, or post, is a method for transmitting information and tangible objects, wherein written documents, typically enclosed in envelopes and also small packages are delivered to destinations around the world. Anything sent through the postal system is called mail or post.

In principle, a postal service can be private or public. Governments often place restrictions on private postal delivery systems. Since the mid 19th century national postal systems have generally been established as government monopolies with a fee on the article prepaid. Proof of payment is often in the form of adhesive postage stamps, but postage meters are also used for bulk mailing.

Postal systems often have functions other than sending letters. In some countries, a Postal Telegraph and Telephone (PTT) service oversees the postal system as well as having authority over telephone and telegraph systems. Some countries' postal systems allow for savings accounts and handle applications for passports.

What address do you mail the Continued Claim form to for Unemployment Insurance benefits?
Q. This is the form where I complete information regarding the past 2 weeks of work. It gives me a date by when to mail the form, but no clear indication of what address to mail it to specifically. I need to mail it tomorrow morning and I can't get in touch with any representatives - HELP!

A. You should be able to find it online at the Unemployment Insurance Benefits page. I have seen the questionaire and instructions. Also look in the online booklet for filing. The booklet gives detailed information on how to. They give all the guide lines for continued claims. Click on the Continued Claims for your state, and follow their instructions. Check your state Workforce Force Job Site. It gives a list of the closest Workforce agencies in your county.
